Our best-selling Batac 24L Backpack is a streamlined pack for fast-and-light daytrips, hikes, and other excursions. It’s unstructured for easy loading and features a main zippered compartment along with a front vertical-zip pocket and two mesh water bottle pockets. Available in two sizes; the 24L is the bigger size.

"Over the years I’ve bought numerous school backpacks for my daughters. The Batac 24L Daypack has by far been the favorite. This pack has great storage space that’s well organized for a laptop, lunchbox, textbooks, notebooks, and an accessible pouch for pens and a calculator. The best part is that it’s easily identifiable among all the other high school backpacks because of its one of a kind color combination! "I’ve had my Batac 24 for multiple years now, and recently the shoulder strap has been fraying (I work at a summer camp, so it goes through a lot). The customer service when asking for a replacement was incredible. I didn’t have proof of purchase or an order number, and they still took care of me and issued me another bag. I'm a college student thinking of using this backpack for school. I have a 13' laptop - I'm not concerned about it fitting, I'm wondering how much padding the laptop sleeve has and if it has a false bottom? Will a 16" Macbook Pro fit into the laptop sleeve? It's about 14" x 10".: Hey Jeff! The dimensions of this pack are 11x20 in. I would say it might fit, but it would be a tight squeeze. Hope that helps!
Can you machine wash the Batac 24?: Hey Wally, great question! We don't encourage the packs to get machine washed, rather a handwashing with mild detergent. If you have a front loader washer, you may be able to wash it in a mesh sack, so the straps do not get caught on anything, but do not wash in a top loader agitator. Is this bag water proof or water resistant? Or is there a way to buy a rain cover like the other bags?: Hi, Leah! The Batac 24L is water-resistant in moderate to mild conditions. It would not do well in any kind of heavy rain or snow. We do not sell rain covers for this pack, but you could buy a 24L-compatible rain cover elsewhere :)
Does this fit a 15" long laptop ?: I, personally, have never tried, but I just checked the specs on this pack, and it looks like it is only 11" wide, so my guess would be that a 15" laptop would not fit.
Does this bag have a waist strap?: The Batac 24L does not have a waist belt.
