Tips for how to measure:
- Use a flexible tape measure.
- If possible, have someone help you take measurements.
- Wear something light and close-fitting—like leggings and a t-shirt—so your clothes don’t add to the measurements. Don’t wear anything thick or heavy, like jeans or a jacket.
- Stand up straight with your feet shoulder-width apart.
- Chest: With the tape measure parallel to the floor, measure the circumference around the fullest part of your chest.
- Waist: With the tape measure parallel to the floor, measure the full circumference of your natural waist (at the crease when you bend to one side).
- Hips: With the tape measure parallel to the ground, measure the circumference of the fullest part of your hips (usually around the top of your thighs, where they connect to your torso).
- Sleeves: Starting at the base of your neck, measure along your shoulder, then down to the wrist. Your elbow should be slightly bent.
- Inseam: Holding the tape measure vertically, measure straight down from your crotch to the floor. Take this measurement without shoes on.

An essential and sustainably-minded warmer, the Teca Fleece adds some energy to your cool-weather wardrobe.
Why It's Different
We use remnant fabric and 100% recycled polyester to build each Teca Fleece.
Our Giving Model

We tie our earnings to impact by allocating 1% of annual revenues to the Cotopaxi Foundation, which then distributes multi-year grants to thoroughly vetted nonprofit organizations who focus on improving the human condition and fighting extreme poverty. Since 2014, we have helped our impact partners reach an estimated 3 million people in extreme poverty through traceable and valid means.

About this Factory
Manufacturing details:
Teca jackets are produced at a forward-thinking factory in northeastern China, where worker well-being is a top priority. The factory is also working to meet the highest standards of sustainability and efficiency within the next few years. In partnership with this factory, we keep leftover fabric from other companies’ large production runs out of the landfill by turning it into limited-edition Tecas. Learn more about this factory.
